These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lei Brands website and your relationship with us when you enquire about or engage our financial management, tax consultancy, and related business support services in Guyana.

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Website use

You may use our website for lawful purposes. You must not violate applicable law, attempt unauthorised access, transmit malware, scrape data without consent, or misrepresent your identity.

Website content is informational and does not by itself create a client relationship or constitute professional advice.

3. Services

Our published services include tax consultancy, GRA compliance support, financial and management accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, business setup, and advisory packages described on our website. Specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees are set out in your engagement letter.

We do not guarantee specific audit results, refund amounts, registration approvals, or regulatory decisions. Unless explicitly agreed in writing, our services are not legal representation.

4. Becoming a client

A client relationship begins when we accept your engagement in writing and any agreed onboarding requirements are met. Until then, discussions are preliminary.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide complete, accurate, and timely information; respond promptly to requests; review deliverables before filing where applicable; pay fees as agreed; and notify us of material changes to your business or tax status. You remain responsible for ultimate compliance obligations.

6. Fees and payment

Fees are as stated in your engagement letter. Invoice payment terms, late-payment interest, and disbursement handling must be confirmed before publication. Client funds are handled according to our written client-funds policy and your engagement letter.

7. Confidentiality

We treat non-public client information as confidential. Confidentiality survives termination, subject to legal and professional retention requirements.

8. Intellectual property

Our reports, templates, and website content remain our intellectual property unless your engagement letter states otherwise. You retain ownership of data you provide and grant us a licence to use it to perform services.

9. Third-party reliance

Deliverables are prepared for you unless we expressly agree in writing that a third party may rely on them.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Guyanese law, our liability for claims arising from services is limited to an amount to be confirmed in the engagement letter (e.g. fees paid for the specific engagement in the prior 12 months). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or penalties due to your inaccurate information or late instructions. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us from claims arising from inaccurate information you provide, your breach of these Terms, or misuse of deliverables contrary to our instructions.

12. Term and termination

Either party may terminate as set out in the engagement letter. Upon termination, you pay for work performed through the termination date; we return or transfer your records per our retention policy and your instructions.

13. Complaints

Contact [email protected] with service concerns. Acknowledgement timeframe and escalation path to be confirmed before publication.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Guyana. Dispute resolution forum (courts or arbitration) to be confirmed with counsel.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes to active engagements will be communicated as required.
